Traditional motion detectors have to be mounted in a location where a grid connection is available. The developed Busch motion detector has a separate sensor and actuator unit which communicate with each other wirelessly. The detector part is battery-operated and can therefore function independently from the electrical grid. As such, it can be placed where it best overlooks the area that needs to be monitored.
